Ryan and Chad Steelberg

Ryan Steelberg (CEO) and Chad Steelberg (CTO & President) bring more than 30 years of combined executive management experience in technology, marketing, business development and sales.  The Steelbergs are considered two of the foremost experts in digital and online advertising. Since 1996, the Steelbergs have raised more than $150 million in equity financing, managed 400+ employees and created in excess of $3.0 billion in shareholder value, through the successful founding, management, and liquidation of three industry impactful companies.

In 2002, the Steelbergs founded dMarc Broadcasting, growing to service more than 4,600 US radio stations, bridging and integrating online and broadcast advertising systems. dMarc Broadcasting was acquired by Google, Inc. in February of 2006 for $1.238 billion in cash and performance incentives.  

Prior to dMarc, the Steelberg's co-founded AdForce in 1995, formerly the world's largest centralized, independent ad-serving and management solution, and 2CAN Media (AdSmart), which grew to become the third largest Internet advertising sales organization. 2CAN was sold to CMGi in 1999 for over $50 million. 

As the primary competitor to DoubleClick, AdForce (formerly traded on NASDAQ as ADFC) controlled more than 50% of the online ad-management market in the US, through such clients as Netscape, GeoCities, AOL and Goto.com, the precursor to Overture Services (later purchased by Yahoo). AdForce was acquired by CMGi in 1999 for more than $500 million. 

Named by the Orange County Business Journal as two of the county's "50 Most Influential Businesspeople," Ryan and Chad were finalists for Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2000. In 2006, Ryan and Chad Steelberg were named two of the "50 Most Powerful People in Radio," by Radio Ink Magazine. Most recently, Ryan was named a recipient of the 2009 Sports Business Journal's Forty under 40 Awards.

Joe Lindsay

Joe Lindsay (VP, Engineering) brings nearly 20 years of IT experience in a variety of computing environments, including mainframe, client-server, and Internet technologies, Mr. Lindsay is a leader in both the development and operation of business-critical systems. 

Joe Lindsay joins BAT from market-leading Autobytel (Nasdaq: ABTL) where he served as VP, Technology, managing software development, IT operations, and technology processes.  Joe is an experienced IT manager whose career started in datacenter operations at IBM, supporting large scale environments from large multi-mainframe datacenters to large scale global Internet operations. Prior to Autobytel, Joe served as CTO and VP of Business Development of eBuilt, a successful system integration and software development firm that he co-founded   Before co-founding eBuilt, Joe worked with the Steelbergs  as the Executive Director of Operations for AdForce (formerly ADFC on Nasdaq), an Internet ad delivery firm that was purchased by CMGI, Inc. after its successful IPO. As part of the founding technical team, he was responsible for the network and systems architecture that enabled AdForce to become the largest centralized ad delivery service on the Internet, with operations across 3 continents.

Mydung Tran Nachman

Mydung Nachman (VP and Director of Finance) joins BAT from Ticketmaster, where as a Sr. Director she managed strategic alliances, M&A, and joint venture initiatives for the company.  Mydung brings over 10 years of Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, and M&A expertise to the Company, with both domestic and international experience. 

Prior to Ticketmaster, Mydung was a member of the investment banking divisions at Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., where she was a Vice President in the M&A group, and Credit Suisse First Boston.  Mydung earned a JD/MBA from UCLA and graduated cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Russell Ketchum

Russell Ketchum (VP Product Management )  joins BAT from Google where he spent four years as a Business Product Manager developing monetization products. There, he led a series of efforts to expand the Ad Words and Ad Sense programs beyond their online roots by developing tools to prove and quantify advertiser effectiveness. The programs Russ launched at Google have continued since his departure and now find themselves at the respective cores of their TV and streaming ads businesses.

Prior to joining Google, Russell was the founding Director of Product Management for dMarc Broadcasting. Acquired by Google in January of 2006, the technology Russ helped shape at dMarc grew to become part of the AdSense platform empowering traditional media product offerings. Before joining dMarc, Russ negotiated partnerships and promotions with the LEGO Group, in San Diege, California.

Russell is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Communication, Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Annenberg School for Communication with a minor in Advertising.

Scott Silverman

Scott Silverman (VP Business Development ) brings over 15 years experience in business & corporate development, finance, operations and strategic consulting across a wide range of industries. Scott joins BAT from Google, where as Head of Audio Partnerships he led business and corporate development activities and helped define strategic direction for all audio-related initiatives.

Prior to Google, Scott was VP of Finance at dMarc Broadcasting (acquired by Google in 2006), where he was a member of senior management responsible for all finance and business analysis activities, as well as setting strategic direction for the company. Scott oversaw a 50+ person division of dMarc and also helped negotiate and close the sale of dMarc to Google. Scott's prior experience also includes financial and strategic consulting positions at Bridge Strategy Group, Tribune Company, IFC Credit Corporation, theSauce.com, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. Scott holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he was named a Siebel Scholar, has B.S. with high honors from Indiana University and is a CPA.
